Milky Bay Resort, located at the serene Baan Thai beach, is owned and run by a nice western couple, who will ensure your stay is every bit as enjoyable as you've hoped for.
Manicured gardens, lush vegetation, grass patches, small ponds, lotus flowers and khmer-style statues are to be found all around, providing a calm natural atmosphere, coherent with the thai culture and enviroment. All the paths are covered with soft wood-shavings, which give the resort a special rural feeling, and make it easier to walk barefoot.
There are small shaded areas throughout the gardens, with thatched roofs and thai pillows, which are great for a couple or a small group to sit together, have a snack, read a book, chill-out and enjoy the breeze.
All the bungalows at Milky Bay resort have air-condition, hot-water, a range of furniture, and are fully fitted and furnished to high standards, while still being loyal to the local thai style. The wide veranda have garden or ocean views, and is a great place to nap, read a book, enjoy the fresh air or spend time with your loved ones.
The lush vegetation around the bungalows ensures privacy and serenity, and gives the guests a feeling that they are in their own little tropical kingdom.
One of the unique facilities at the Milky Bay resort is the sauna, which was built in mid-2005. It is the perfect place for you to release any stress or pressure and offers relaxation and rejuvination with no extra cost.
A variety of massage types (Thai, swedish, foot, head, among other) and beauty treatments are available at the spacious massage sala, and are a great way to further relax and recharge your body.
Another treat is the half-shaded swimming pool a stone's throw from the beach, which means you can choose between improving your tan or chilling out in the cool shade, while watching the ever-changing colors of the ocean.

Milky Bays' restaurant speciality is italian food and fresh seafood, prepared in thai-style or western style. It also serves a range of Western and Thai cuisine.
Milky Bay resort is located at Baan Thai beach, on the south-western side of Koh Phangan. This is a quiet beach with stunning sunset views, and a dreamy deserted island atmosphere with palms leaning in to the calm emerald sea.
A sunset-walk along the coast is highly recommended, but the few early-risers will find that the colors of the ocean and the sky at sunrise are even better.
The nearby fishing village of Baan Thai has some authentic restaurants and street-stands that feature fresh seafood and genuine thai food (spicy...) and offers a glimpse into the local's life.
Milky Bays' location at Baan-Thai beach means it is easy to travel to all parts of the island. Haad-Rin, The main travelers' town and the location of the monthly full moon party, is a mere 15 minutes drive away, as is the port town of Thong-Sala, which is the main residence of most of the island's local thai people.
Motorbikes are available for hire, but if you don't want the bother, taxis pass frequently on the road outside.
